Dear Fellow Dental Hygiene Professionals,
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer and are trying to stay cool in this heat we are having. Soon it will be time to meet for our next meeting in September before you know it! I would like to introduce myself to you all before we start this next year off. My name is Karyn Carr Porter and I am your new President of the HCCDHA. I am looking forward to meeting all of you at our meetings and hope that we can make this year a great one together!
In this coming year we have many great speakers lined up including your P.A.N.D.A. certifications with Lisa Bress, CPR recertification with Gary Moses, an OSHA update with Chris Wisnom, and of cour Dr. Wynn will be joining us in May to wrap things up. We aslo have some specialists coming to talk with us including periodontists, implant specialists, and a lecture about affective communication in the dental office. I know I am looking forward to hearing all of these great people speak!
I would also like to introduce the rest of our new Executive Board as some of the positions have changed.

Before we get into this next year of CE courses please remember to register early with Denise Grams in order to receive a generous discount on your classes and so that we know how much food and drink to accommodate you all with. Please help us to keep our costs to a minimum by planning ahead with us!
Again, I look forward to meeting all of you in September and at future meetings. Please have a great, safe, cool summer and remember to keep your membership active!! Also, please tell any hygiene friends, who are not currently memebers, of the benefits of joining our ADHA association and choosing HCCDHA as their component!!!
